Synopsis

You cannot make an informed investment by simply looking at the financial accounts of the business, or at business cycles and trends. One of the most important factors to consider is the economy and the markets. This set of modules covers money markets and the three factors that matter for any fixed income instrument as well as the characteristics of bonds and their price quotes. The course also outlines the typical shapes of yield curves, and how trading and investment strategies may be implemented based on one’s expectation of the changes in a yield curve.
